Sample Roleplay: For Pan, there was seldom a time where she could just catch a break from trying to measure up to her grandfather – a trip into the city was that break from her heritage that she needed. Sure, fighting delivered a strong sense of excitement – especially if the opponent was particularly strong, but all the same, she was a teenage girl; she needed to get out, make friends her own age and indulge in some ‘normal teenage girl’ stuff.
Sliding back the door to the café that Pan had recently made a habit of frequenting, she snuck in, tucking a hand into the pocket of her jeans, sliding into the seat to the table in the corner of the small store. The one thing the quarter-breed Saiyan had noticed about the town with how she’d gone out of her way to drop by the current café was how quiet it was. No thugs pushing the doors open to make a ruckus and cause problems for both customers and workers alike. No big evil threat looming over the city.
Part of the young girl wished that some sort of trouble would fall into her lap – anything, really. Just so she didn’t have to deal with this part of life. Idle fingers found their way into her pocket, pulling out a small mobile phone. It wasn’t much – but it served the purpose. Pan punched in the number of the only friend outside of martial art tournaments she knew of; the next heir to the Capsule Corp – Bulla Briefs.
“Hey. You wanna chill for a bit?” her thumb hit the ‘enter’ button and the ‘your message has been sent.’ Message popped up on the small screen of the portable communication device. Fortunately, the waitress appeared to have noticed the bandanna-sporting girl and made her way over to her to take her order. She didn’t order anything fancy, just the recommended special for the day - Sweet and sour pork, rice and egg fu yang in a large serving, of course. When the food was brought out in a bowl, she didn’t waste time digging in to it in traditional son family style.
